3 Persons Injured

Two men and a woman were injured when two cars collided at 8.10 a.m. yesterday on the Main North Highway, a quarter of a mile north of the Conway River store at Hundalee. Graeme James Gardiner, aged 27, of 49 Tui Glen Road, Nelson, the driver of a car travelling north, was admitted to the Kaikoura Hospital with facial injuries and concussion.

The other driver, Noel Lloyd Morgan, aged 37, of 42 Hawthorne Road, Kaikoura. suffered facial injuries and shock. His wife, Elsie May Frances Morgan, aged 37, was admitted to the Kaikoura Hospital with facial injuries and shock.

The injured were attended by Dr S. R. Hunt (Cheviot).
