Engineering Symposium
Mr L. K. Brown, chairman of the University of Canterbury Engineering Society, will attend the annual Australian National Engineering Students’ symposium to be held in Adelaide from May 17 to 23. He is being sponsored by the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association, the Canterbury branch of the New Zea-
land Institution of Engineers, and the University of Canterbury Engineering Society. Mr Brown is in his final year of study for. a bachelor of engineering (civil) degree He lives in Avonside, and hopes to join a local firm when he has completed his studies.
