MADE TO ORDER IN A TEST TUBE.—A group of British scientists have devised this space animal called Phred so that it may one day live on the moon. The scientists assume that genetic engineering will reach a point where it will be possible to make this creature in a test tube. Phred has a long, low body, four legs, two hands, and two long extensions replacing ears for picking up vibrations from the ground.
