TV SPORT

The outside telecasts made by CHTV3 so far this year have covered a wide range of sporting activities, although there is widespread regret that it has not been able to include Rugby football In the first four months of the year, 24 outside broadcasts of sporting events were scheduled, and the total screening time was nearly 50 hours. Bowls, cricket, tennis, athletics, softball, cycling, show jumping, swimming, soccer and Rugby league have been covered. In the next three months, there will again be regular outside telecasts from sports grounds, with Rugby league matches, soccer, hockey, outdoor basketball, indoor basketball, and a telecast of the Rugby match between New Zealand Maoris and Fiji, from Lancaster Park.
