' Stop Tour ' Request

(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 26. The Otago Trade* Council has urged united tradeunion action to prevent the All Black tour of South Africa. It haa asked the Federation of Labour to set a programme of activity against the tour.

The Connell’s president (Mr W. B. Richards) said unions affiliated to the F.O.L. could refuse to provide hotel services for the team, provide transport to the airport, or load the team’s luggage on the aircraft. Pilots might be asked to decline to fly the team.

The council also calls for a public statement reaffirming the F.O.L.’s stand on the tour, and no official Government farewell functions for the team.
