Boarding Grant Being Studied
(N.Z. Press Association) WELINGTON, April 15. The Minister of Education (Mr Taiboys), is examining boarding allowances for country secondary school pupils •with a possible view to an increase in some cases. [ Replying in Parliament to a [ question from Mr C. J. Moyle (Lab., Mangere), the Minister said he was aware of the difficulties of some parents of secondary school pupils who were boarding away from home. As a result of representations from Federated Farmers and others,, he was examining certain Aspects of the allowance. /
