Navy Launch Aground

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 16. The 70ft Navy reserve training launch Kuparu ran aground this morning on the north-west corner of Motuihe Island while on an exercise.

The , fisheries protection vessel Mako was standing by but her help was not needed in refloating the Kuparu, a Navy spokesman said.
