Jeffery Out Of Hospital
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The World Cup centre-half, A. Jeffery (Western Suburbs), may be out of action for up to three weeks because of the injury he suffered in last Saturday’s national league soccer match against Mount Wellington. Jeffery collided with a Mount Wellington player and was knocked unconscious. He was admitted to Wellington Hospital suffering from severe concussion, and left it on Tuesday, but was ordered to rest for a week before resuming work. However, he does not expect to get back into serious training for another two weeks. He may miss his club’s next three matches against Auckland United, Hungaria and Gisborne.
