’QUAKE IN MANILA
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MANILA, April 7. An earthquake shook Manila at 5.30 a.m. New Zealand time today and a series of after-shocks contributed to extensive damage in the city. At least 60 people are reported to have been injured mostly by broken glass. Telephone communications with Singapore and Japan were cut, and at least one radio station went off the air.
