Provision Of Act Extended
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 3. Provisions of the Land and Income Tax Act, 1954, relating to the sale and replacement of stock by farmers during drought conditions, had been extended to 13 counties, the Associate Minister of Finance (Mr Pickering) said today. The counties are Otamatea, Hobson, Whangarei, Waitemate, Taumaranui, Pahiatua, Marlborough, Rodney, Otoro> hanga, Waimarlno, Dannevirke, Woodville and Awatere.
