DRIVING CHARGES
Man Fined $4OO (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April «. Graham Laucblan MacLeod, aged 19, a storeman, was convicted and ordered to pay a total of $430.50 in fines, costs and medical expenses, and was disqualified from driving for five years by Mr J. D. Murray, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court this morning, on six driving charges. Appearing for sentence, MacLeod was fined $l5O, with costs of $5 and medical expenses of $10.50, and disqualified from driving for three years, on a charge of driving while under the influence of liquor.
He was fined $75, costs $5, and disqualified for 12 months on a charge of dangerous driving, and $lOO, costs $5, with a further 12 months disqualification on a charge of driving while disqualified.
On a charge of failing to stop after an accident he was fined $75, costs $5, and on a charge of failing to ascertain if any person was injured, he was convicted.and discharged. A charge of driving with excessive alcohol in his blood was withdrawn.
