TRAMPER HURT
Fall Over Bluff A 14-year-old tramp er was injured in a fall over a bluff in the hills about two hours walk from Coopers Creek, five miles west of Oxford, last evening. His name has not, been released by the police. The injured boy is one of a party of four trampers. After he fell one of his companions remained with him and the other two walked out to Coopers Creek and the police were informed. Although the extent of his injuries was not known late last evening he is unable to move and will have to be car j tied out.
An advance party consisting of Dr M. R. Mowat and Constables P. Fair and E. Robinson left for the scene late last evening. They are to be joined by four men from the OxfordCoopers Creek area. The main party, consisting of 14 men from Christchurch, left the Central Police Station shortly before midnight, and 10 members of the Search and Rescue Organisation from the Rangiora district left Rangiora at 11.30 p.m.
