For this reason, AID, The Association for Improved Driving—aims to achieve higher standards of driving by conducting Roadcraft Tests designed to develop real driving proficiency. The Association for Improved Driving is a non-profit organisation formed by The New Zealand Automobile Association Inc, Motorsport Association New Zealand Inc, and Shell Oil New Zealand Limited. AID has the wholehearted encouragement of NZ Transport Department and Local Authority Traffic Departmenta.
