SYDNEY, Feb. 26. ‘ Consolidated Gold Fields Australia, Ltd, yesterday an- ; nounced a net profit of ; 85,056,000 for the six months to December 31, a rise of 33.9 per cent . ■ The.operating profit before tax was $10,966,000 “ ($8,752,000). Tax took $3,922,000 ($3,314,000) and minority interests $1,988,000 -] ($1,605,000). The directors have declared an interim dividend of 7 per cent, payable April 24. Group profits do not include any profits from Western Titanium, Ltd, which became a subsidiary on November’lB. The directors say they expect the results for the full year to be in excess of those for 1969. i C.G.F.A. holds interests in many Australian miners, 1.a., i Bellambi Coal, Lake View 1 i and Star, Associated Minerals i ’Consolidated, and Golds- ' ■worthy Mining.
