West Borneo Survey

More than 60 British and Australian topographic experts are expected to arrive in the West Borneo capital of Pontianak in May to help an Indonesian team to map the 15,800,000 acres of the vast province, bordering the Malaysian State of Sarawak. An Indonesian Army spokesman said in Djakarta today that the arrival of the experts had nothing to do with any military or political strategy.—Djakarta, February 26.
