The next step will be to obtain the agreement of the local bodies concerned and to carry out the formal gazetting of the proposed route. It is not possible at the present time to say just when actual construction of the line will commence or whether it will be possible to remove a portion of the present main line. This will be the subject of further investigation by the department.")
