MEDICAL CENTRE
Proposal For Darfield
The provision of a medica* centre at Darfield. to serve the Malvern and Oxford counties, will be discussed soon at a meeting between two Darfield doctors, representatives of the North Canterbury Hospital Board, and representatives of the two county councils.
Mr T. C. Grigg told the hospital board yesterday that the doctors were “very keen" to go ahead with a proposal to establish a group medical practice to serve the two counties.
The board’s works committee recommended that the board should provide land at Darfield for the centre.
