Burwell bought

A. Burwell, who represented Great Britain as a three-quarter in the 1968 world championship series in Australia and New Zealand, will join the expanding list of overseas players contracted to Sydney Rugby league clubs this season. Canterbury - Bankstown. which recently signed the Kiwi forward, W. P. Noonan, Cronulla - Sutherland, now coached by Barwell’s former British test teammate, T. Bishop, and North Sydney, whose coach, Mr R. Francis previously held a similar position with the Leeds club in England, has expressed interest in Burwell.
