The team is so far unbeaten, defeating Oregon State University, 8-0, in the! last game. “Pat had me out on the field immediately after the; game to meet his boys,” Mr Henning wrote. “He said not' even New Zealanders play tighter schedule than his! team undertook in the past week." The team played four games during the week—on Sunday. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday—against Chico, State University (20-0), Santa! Clara University (17-0), Ore-gon-University (8-3), and Oregon State University; (8-0). "Pat is a great coach,”, wrote Mr Henning. “Sty Mary's has a student body, of less than 1000 men. Oregon and Oregon State would' each have more than 10,000.” J
