GRANT FOR HOME
(N.Z. Press Association > WELLINGTON, Feb. 11. The "Government has launched a $7.5m subsidy scheme for homes and hospitals for the aged run by ; religious and welfare organisations, with a $192,000 grant for an Auckland old people's home. The first grant, announced today by the Minister of Health (Mr McKay), will go to the Christian Hospital Trust Board which [ plans a 40-bed home in : Mount Smart Road.
