JAPAN BUILDS BIG OIL RIG FOR THE UNITED STATES.—The main hull of a huge oil rig machine-room being towed from a Japanese shipyard, bound for the Pacific coast of the United States. The supporting legs, which will be transported separately by freighter, are self-elevating, enabling the machine-room to be raised or lowered as required for drilling.
