Group Rentals May Pay 10 p.c.
The directors of Group Rentals New Zealand. Ltd, expect profit to cover twice a 10 per cent dividend for the year to June 30. An interim dividend for 5 per cent, declared yesterday, is payable on April 3; ex dividend March 23. Last year the companv lifted its dividend from 7 per cent to 9 per cent, including a bonus payout, when profit trebled. The directors said yesterday that profit for the six months to December 31 was steady on the same period the year before. After the interim dividend and tax provision the asset hacking of each Group Rentals share will be about 140 c.
