McCann, this (Season’s Ashhurst Cup winner ,dashed over the last half-mile iin 49 4-ssec, and the final three Ifurlongs in 37 l-ssec. Flipper, which will have his (only start for the meeting in the Cheviot Handicap, worked away from the seven furlongs, and quickened for the last halfimile in 51 l-ssec.
