(N.Z. Press Assn.—CopprlgDt) SURFERS PARADISE. G. Mcßae, of New Zealand, yesterday drove a McLaren to victory in heat five of the Tasman Cup racing series at the Surfers Paradise international circuit. Mcßae won from the Australian, K. Bartlett, in a Mildren Waggott, with another New Zealander. G. Lawrence, third in a Ferrari. The race favourite, F. iMatich, of Australia, finished in fourth place after fuel trouble near the end of the race. Matich had to make a pit stop on the forty-fourth lap after leading for most of the race. However, Matich still leads the Tasman series with 25 points, followed by Lawrence 20, and Mcßae 18.
