CURRAN, Official Assignee, Christchurch. . 5886 ASHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL METHVEN FIRE SERVICES LOAN, 1969 $5300 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Ashburton County Council at a meeting held on the Twelfth day of December, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty-nine passed the following resolution:— "That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Counties Act. 1956. the Local Authorities Loan Act. 1956, the Fire Services Act, 1949, and their various Amendments and Regulations made thereunder, the Ashburton County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: (1) That for the purpose of making an advance out of its County Fund Account under Section 31 of the Local Authorities Loans Act. 1956, to meet part of the cost of purchasing a fire appliance for the Methven Urban Fire District and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Council is empowered to do by the Counties Act, 1956, and its Amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Ashburton County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of Five Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($5300) for a term oft Fifteen < 15) Years at an interest! rate not exceeding four per* cent (4 per cent) per annum.
