Ashley Council’s Policy On Anonymous Letters

The Ashley County Council has decided that it will not, comment on letters written! anonymously to newspapers. The decision was made as! a result of two anonymous letters relating to the county .civil defence scheme and a fence erected across Amesbury Road, which appeared in » “The Press” recently. *» “It is just too easy for a ‘.Jierson to write in to ‘The ■•Press’ and not declare who "he is and cause a lot of work and strife.” said the chairman 1 (Mr J.
