“Gallery” In Marek

With the aim of being a topical current affairs programme "Gallery” will begin on March 3. It will be screened twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 9 p.m. Last year’s reporters and interviewers— Brian Edwards, Peter Debreceny and David Beatson—will be in harness again. But there is likely to be at least one addition to this team. The producer. Des Monaghan, has said that he hoped “Gallery” would be more sophisticated, and with more in-depth reporting than before. Another current affairs programme is planned by the N.Z.B.C. It is tentatively called “Survey” and it is envisaged that a wider range of subjects will be approached.
