OXFORD FARM PASSED IN

A farm of 168 acres at Oxford was passed in at auction yesterday at $22,512, or $134 an acre. The Government valuation is $13,550. On the Ashley Gorge Road two miles from Oxford, the farm has 23 acres of flat land and 40 acres of easy hill. The rest is hills, including 12 acres of native bush. Buildings include an older-type dwelling with three bedrooms. The auctioneer was Mr I. Parkinson, of Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Ltd. The’ farm is owned by Messrs D. A. and K. M. Reid. 1
