The successes of M. Thom, 12, and A. Moyes, 14, in the national P Class championships at Kohimarama last month further extended the fine records already established by these Auckland families. His 15-year-old brother, M. Thom, had been the runner-up in the fleet of 52 boats which contested the Auckland P Class title. The Tauranga Cup-(inter-club) championship, was kept in the family by A. Moyes. His brother, J.' Moyes, won both theTanner and Tauranga Cups in 1968 and 1969 and a cousin, G. Moyes, won the Tauranga Cup in 1966.
