A British-German consortium has signed with Turkey a contract to build a §USISOm, 5118 ft-long bridge over the Bosphorus, linking Europe with Asia. “A dream going back to 513 8.C., when the Persian Xerxes tried to bridge the strait, is today becoming a reality,” the Turkish Minister of Public Works (Mr Turgut Gulez) said after the signing.— Ankara, January 30.
