CABLE TO JAMAICA

Invitation To Athlete The Canterbury Athletic Centre will send a cable to Jamaica today in an attempt to confirm the invitation sent to the half-miler, B. Dyce, to compete in the Kaiapoi meeting at Lancaster Park on March 21 to 22, the chairman (Mr B. H. Kerr) said! last evening. The overseas athletes will compete at Waikato on March 14 and Auckland on March 18 before the two-day meeting in Christchurch. Every athletic event, apart! from decathalon, pentathlon, marathon and road race, had been included on the provisional programme. Federation Cup.
