Only 20sec separated the teams. New South Wales dominated a carnival on Saturday, but in the premier event of the day. the six-man rescue and resuscitation. the Waikanae senior team won with a points deduction of 6.0 R to 8.09. Final honours were with the Australians, who won 11 of the 14 events.
