THIS NEW ELECTRIC CAR, called the Enfield 465, was announced in Britain recently. The car is designed for city use, will hold four persons, has a top speed of 40 m.p.h., and a range of 35 miles on one battery charge. The batteries will recharge overnight, the car will accelerate to 30 m.p.h. in 10sec, and the turning circle is only 18ft. The body is plastic, and the doors are of the sliding type. The firm of Enfield Automotive, Ltd, plans to produce the car on a “serious commercial scale.”
