Police Vigilant
One hundred police went into the Gazelle Peninsula today in case of more fighting between rival native groups, but the peninsula remained quiet. In Rabaul, meanwhile, more members of the Mataungan Association, which initiated, attacks on supporters of the Gazelle local government council last Sunday, were gaoled. •*- Rabaul, December 12.
