t.Y.Z. Press Association! SYDNEY, Dec. 8. Poseidon shares shot up by 1150 c to a record 7900 c in Sydney today, in one of the most fantastic jumps in Australian Stock Exchange history. At this price Poseidon is valued at just under s2oom. In the last four trading days the share price has risen from 5250 c, for a market capitalisation of around sl3om, to today’s staggering 7900 c. The run on the shares follows bullish reports on Poseidon by Melbourne stockbrokers. One broker has predicted that they could reach a minimum price of $250 a share in the next few years. The directors of Poseidon said in Adelaide today that all 12c contributing shares on which the final call of 8c has not been paid have been forfeited and will be offered for sale by public auction at the Adelaide Stock Exchange on December 23.
