REPORT MADE

Future Of I Molesworth (From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov. 10. The committee of experts set up last year by the Minister of Lands (Mr Maclntyre) to inquire into the future use of Molesworth Station, in the Marlborough high country, has submitted its report to the Minister. “The committee made a thorough investigation and has produced more than 40 recommendations,” Mr MacIntyre said today. “As soon as I have had time to study them properly, in about a week, I shall release the report to the press. “Because of the public interest in Molesworth—more than 70 submissions were received by the committee— l am also having the report printed and shall distribute it to interested individuals and organisations to give them a chance to comment before any recommendations are implemented. “I expect copies to be available from the Department of Lands and Survey in about four weeks,” Mr Maclntyre said.
