THE START OF THE INCIDENT in the New Zealand Trotting Cup at the Addington Raceway yesterday in which Garcon Roux fell and several other runners were put out of the race with less than three furlongs to run. Spry, which was promoted to first after the judicial committee had disqualified Stella Frost, held a clear lead at this point and is not in the picture. Diarac (rails), Chief Command (middle), and Meadow Bank are almost in line chasing Spry. Stella Frost (white bridle) and Wipe Out are next, and Garcon Roux is failing behind Wipe Out.
