COLOURFUL CEREMONY IN TAIWAN.—On the twenty-fourth anniversary of the restoration of Taiwan to the Republic of China, colourful performances were given by civil organisations. They featured such folk arts as the dragon dance (shown in the photograph), the lion dance, and folk music. The traditional drums and gongs added to the gala occasion.
