REMAND TO HOSPITAL

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 10. Murray Beresford Roberts, aged .50, an unemployed workman, was , again re; manded to Porirua Hospital under section 37 of the Mental Health Act, by Mr R. D. Jamieson, S.M., today when Roberts appeared on a charge of theft. Roberts is charged with stealing two suitcases' and contents valued at $284; belonging to Richard Harley and Judith Dale Field, between Wfellingtoh and Auckland. The offence is alleged to have occurred on or about August 28.

Compel for Roberts, Mr M. Dawson, said that he had a report from Porirua Hospital on Roberts, but the doctors desired to have another look at him. The Magistrate said he had proposed to remand Roberts anyway, and he ordered that Roberts apppar again on November 24.
