5 Christchurch police yester- ‘ day recovered a $l3OO tractor ; which had been taken from [ a Rplleeton ebal yard on 1 Saturday. The tractor, which was un- ' damaged, was found in Elston , Road, about two miles from [ Where it was token. ' In other burglaries reB ported yesterday property S worth $132 was taken from a ' house to Warden Street, and fesrth $126 was ~ token from Baked Enamel .Signs, IM, 428 St Asaph ,6teeet . An electric drill and saw, ,'worth a fetal «f $lOO, Were i stolen from a builder’s shed, , l at Ihe corner of Palsgrave Street and Lismore Street Jewellery worth $57 was ; taken when a Springfield il Road fiat was burgled and a . rtop-watCh worth $2O was taken from a Mckerton i Street house. Property worth : $55 was staten when Ashby 1 Bergh, Ltd, Manchester Street, was broken into.
