Prices Of Triumphs
For several months exports of the new Mark II versions of the Triumph 2000 and 2.5 P.I. cars from Britain will be
restricted to built-up vehicles only, and these will be available in New Zealand to noremittance licence holders only, British Leyland has announced.
The estimated New Zealand prices of the built-up Mark II models are: 2000 with standard transmission, $4082 (£962 sterling deposit), with over-
drive $4259 (£1004), automatic $4355 (£1027). The standard transmission station waggon is $4796, (£1130), with overdrive it is $4972 (£1171), and with automatic $5069 (£1194). The 2.5 P.I. will cost $4599 (£1084) for the standard transmission car, $4772 (£1126) with overdrive, and $4872 (£1149) with automatic transmission. The station waggons will be $5309, $5485, and $5582.
