Kiwi Travels

For a flightless, bird, a young kiwi chick has travelled a long way in the last. week. The three-week-old bird’s mother was killed last week by a pig hunter’s dog at Fern Flat, near Kaitaia, and an-Internal Affairs Department officer (Mr P. J.
