Royal Tudor At Peak

“The Press** Special Service HASTINGS. Royal Tudor will parade at his peak for the Harcourt Stakes at Trentham on Monday.

The Pakistan four-year-old worked brilliantly again at Hastings yesterday morning when he ran three furlongs on the plough twice. He was accompanied by Fon. The plough was slightly holding, but offering excellent going, and the course proper, with the trestles well out beyond the proper distance from the rail, was hard and fast.

On the plough, Game (J. Lundy) ran five furflongs in Imin 7sec, the last four In 53 2-ssec, and the last three in 40sec. Game worked from the five right round to the six again, so he had a solid workout. He did this on Tuesday, and on each occasion he had something in hand.

The Pearce Handicap candidate, Relampago (L. Carston), worked boldly over half a mile in 52 3-ssec, the last three in 39 2-ssec.

Royal Tudor (F. Grantham) and Fon (C. Harris) were partnered by Just William (D. Wlthington) for their first three furlongs in 38 2-ssec, but they went the second three together, and Royal Tudor was most impressive, working with something •in hand to complete the second three in 39 2-smc«
