Prejudice In Industry
(N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, October 23. By neglecting to employ women in skilled and technical areas, one half of Australia’s potential labour force was being ignored, the Federal Labour Minister, Mr Leslie Bury, said here today. The community, he said, was conditioned to accept that positions of authority and responsibility “in all'but a few areas” would almost automatically be a male province.
