My Experience.—No space Just now. R. J. Glen.—Not open at present. S. W. Hickmott.—Too difficult for our printers. Avondale.—Sorry; no space. Clubs have the matter in their own hands. L. I. Taylor.—No space here. The theatre would no doubt be interested to hear your suggestions. J; M. Russell.—Leave it to the parties in the dispute. Discussion at this distance could serve no useful purpose. Resident.—Too long. In any case we have no space to repeat the old argument over nude bathing at Hanmer Springs. Lincoln Student. —Such a body spends a great deal of time on administrative and other business which is not “news.”
M. T. Moore.—We have not discussed Labour’s education policy; only that part of it relating to aid for private schools. We have not “hinted darkly” that this would “probably mean increased taxation”; we have said it would mean increased taxation. We have not asked, “Where is the money going to come from?” We know where it would come from.
