Religious Clash
Several people were injured and some huts were set on fire when Hindus and Moslems clashed during a religious festival in a town near Calcutta last night. The violence came during the celebration of the Hindu Festival of Dussehra, in Jaggaddal, when a group of Hindus carrying idols tn a procession clashed with the police near a mosque.—Calcutta, October 21.
