Alleged Spy Sentenced
(N.Z P.A.-lteuter—Copyright) CAIRO, October 21. A West German national was sentenced to death in Cairo yesterday for spying for Israel. He was said to have been found with plans of Suez Canal fortifications in his possession. A military court imposed the sentence on Bahgat Youssef Hamdan, who was bom in Egypt and was described in court as the leader of a spy ring of four men.
