CONTAINER SHIP NAMED.—Captain J. Lovell, who orbited the moon in Apollo 8, at Tilbury Docks, Essex, with his wife after a tour of inspection of the United States Lines’ newest container ship American Astronaut. The ship was named by Mrs Lovell. Captain Lovell has been appointed commander of Apollo 13, which is expected to land on the moon next March.
