NEW RIDER FOR TAILS
(N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) SYDNEY. Tails will be without his regular jockey, N. Voigt, in the Melbourne Cup on November 4. Voigt was suspended by stewards at Hawkesbury on Tuesday for three weeks. He was found guilty of causing a horse to crash into a running rail and fall during the final stages of a maiden race. Voigt broke down and sobbed in the stewards' room after receiving his suspension for three weeks. He said he would appeal.
The Melbourne jockey, M. Allyon, lias been tentatively booked to replace Voigt on Tails, which has been heavily supported' In doubles with the Caulfield Cup winner. Big Philou.
