Parliament’s Diary
Two local measures, the North Shore Drainage Amendment Bill and the Auckland Regional Authority Amendment Bill were read a third time and passed when Parliament reconvened yesterday afternoon. The Foote Adoption Bill, a private measure, was also passed. Two petitions were presented. Ministers answered 10 questions. The Statutes Amendment Bill was committed after debate and was passed through its committee stage.
